Privacy Policy

Last revised: November 2026 · Governed under Laws of Tamil Nadu & India (DPDP Act)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This document is a draft template prepared for institutional transparency. It is subject to formal review and customisation pursuant to the mutual Data Processing Agreement signed prior to commencing any trial survey.

1. Scope and Core Commitment

Kalvi Kaizen ("we", "our", or "us") operates a private B2B advisory and parent feedback service for educational institutions ("Client Schools") in Tamil Nadu, India. Our fundamental tenet is ironclad parent anonymity and complete institutional non-disclosure. We do not operate review sites, public portals, rankings, or advertising networks.

2. Parent Survey Data & Token-Blinded Anonymity

When parents participate in a Kalvi Kaizen survey via our web form:

  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not require parent names, student admission numbers, or personal accounts to complete the survey.
  • Blinded Tokens: Survey access is controlled via single-use random tokens. Once submitted, tokens are detached from survey scores.
  • The N ≥ 5 Aggregation Floor: To prevent statistical deduction in small classes, no report is generated for any cohort containing fewer than 5 respondents.
  • Screening Protocol: Qualitative comments are manually and algorithmically screened to redact personal names, specific teacher accusations, or identifiable anecdotes before presentation to school management.

3. Institutional Data Ownership & Non-Disclosure

All survey results and diagnostic reports belong exclusively to the Client School. Kalvi Kaizen acts solely as a data processor. We pledge that:

  • Results are never published online, shared with the press, or disclosed to competing schools by name.
  • Regional benchmark comparisons are strictly aggregated, anonymised, and included only with the Client School's explicit written consent.
  • No student, parent, or school data is ever sold, leased, or monetised.

4. Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Alignment

Our processing adheres to the core principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act: purpose limitation, data minimisation, storage limitation, and robust security safeguards. Survey forms utilize HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption in transit.
